El Holgazán is crafted by small, independent producer Marta Maté from high-altitude vineyards in Ribera del Duero. Made from Tempranillo, the wine balances modern vibrancy with traditional structure. Aromas of ripe blackberry, cherry and violet lead into a juicy palate layered with dark fruit, gentle spice and subtle earthiness. Light oak ageing adds structure without masking the fruit, while soft tannins and fresh acidity keep the wine approachable and energetic. Expressive yet easy-drinking, it’s a versatile Ribera del Duero suited to relaxed meals.
