The wax used to make these beautiful, green artisanal candles is a mixture of food-grade paraffin and high-quality vegetable wax - once lit, the candle burns slowly and does not emit smoke. These elegant French candles are handcrafted - they respect the ""plunge"" method of manufacture which allows the craftsman to make candles of conical shapes that refine towards the top. The wicks are made of cotton and arranged in U shape on wooden sticks. Attached to frames, these sticks are then dipped into wax by the candle makers.

The long matches are perfect for lighting a wood fire safely, made from poplar, untreated wood. Create a perfect display set by placing the long matches box next to each of these unique candles - display them on your mantle, fireplace, or even your coffee table.
