Hibiki 21 Year Old 100th Anniversary Edition, 70cl

Hibiki was introduced in celebration of Suntory's 90th Anniversary and has since been embraced as the paragon of Japanese Whisky. It stands out not only as Japan's most decorated blended whisky but also as one of the world's most prestigious whiskies.

In honour of a century of pursuing Harmony, a special centennial edition of Hibiki was crafted. The Hibiki 21-year-old expression represents a meticulous blend of malt and grain whiskies, orchestrated to form a symphony of flavours and aromas. For this blend, Chief Blender Shinji Fukuyo set aside the traditional sherry cask to curate a different kind of Harmony: one led, for the first time, by Mizunara. The resulting blend is an exploration of how a single detail can alter the whole alchemy, reassessing and rebalancing harmony.

The fragrance is refined and elegant, characterised by top notes of kumquat and jasmine. As the harmony unfolds, a subtly sweet floral flavour emerges, giving way to the introduction of spiced Japanese sandalwood and agarwood notes.
