Gulfi Rosso Ibleo Nero d’Avola, 75cl

Made by Gulfi in southeastern Sicily, Rosso Ibleo is produced from Nero d’Avola grown in the Chiaramonte Gulfi and Ragoletti areas, with vines trained using the traditional Alberello method. Harvested in mid-September, the grapes undergo a short maceration before fermentation and malolactic conversion in stainless steel, followed by a brief period of refinement prior to bottling. Ruby red with violet reflections, the wine is fragrant and inviting, with notes of red berries, cherry and ripe plum. Fresh, harmonious and easy-drinking, it offers a bright expression of Sicilian Nero d’Avola. Ideal with antipasti, pizza and relaxed, informal meals.
