Fortnum's X Market Row Amalthea Red Rum, 50cl

Our third edition Amalthea distillery collaboration with Brixton Distillery, who are based only three miles from our Piccadilly home. Together we have created this unique Red Rum, distilled with five aged Caribbean Rums and an array of complimentary ingredients including hibiscus, Fortnum’s tea, Fortnum’s honey and rose. This year’s includes our Assam Tea, Rhubarb & Raspberry Preserve and Cinnamon Chefs Honey.

This rum is deep red-pink in colour, with aromas of fresh flowers, black tea, dry herbs, sweet vanilla and a touch of cinnamon spice; the palate reveals a heart of honeyed tropical pineapple and red fruits, which are lent balance by the dry herbal character of our tea, hibiscus – and a pinch of salt!

Serve long over ice with Ginger ale and a slice of apple.
