Fortnum's Kitchen Pistachio Affogato Recipe

Using the pistachio paste as an adhesive works really well and makes for a very beautiful and delicious dessert. 

What you'll need

SERVES 1

1 tbsp Sweet Sicilian Pistachio Paste

A small handful of crushed pistachios

2 scoops of vanilla ice cream

1 shot of espresso

What to do

1. Add a small handful of crushed pistachios to a small plate or saucer. Spread the Sweet Sicilian Pistachio Paste round the rim of the mug and then invert the mug onto the crushed pistachios so that they stick to the rim.

2. Add the ice cream to the mug and pour over the shot of espresso.
