THESE ARE A FEW OF OUR FAVOURITE (FORTNUM’S) THINGS, AN EXQUISITE NEW SELECTION OF CHOCOLATES
Sweet tooths and lovers of all things cocoa: brace your palates for impact, for there’s some exciting news at Fortnum’s. We have been working closely in collaboration with the master chocolatiers who craft our exquisite chocolate, dreaming up a few new and delicious additions to our famous confectionery counter.
While it’s not known exactly when we first started selling chocolate at Fortnum’s, the earliest record in our archive dates back to 1826 in a letter by Captain Parry, who ordered a large quantity of our cococa paste to take with him on board HMS Hecla. But ever since then, our chocolate range has expanded to a truly delicious scale. And now, we’re thrilled to announce the arrival of The Fortnum’s Favourites range.
This range features a selection of our finest chocolates in a mouthwatering melange of flavours, from classic and creamy milk chocolate to decadently dark and even an irresistible alcohol-free curation, catering to every kind of sweet tooth.
Each selection is presented in a beautiful, unique Fortnum’s gift box, where a sleeve in our signature Eau de Nil hue slips off to reveal bespoke illustrations that gleam with a rich tonal palette and exquisite gold accents, inviting you to open the door into a world of Fortnum’s chocolatey joy.
The design of our boxes draws on Fortnum’s story, and we’ve adorned each box with little details that nod to us, from the busy bee hives and the soaring hot air balloon, to familiar sights from around our Piccadilly store and our confectionery counter - all finished with a menagerie of colourful characters brought to life by beautiful illustrations to create a world where elephants dance and octopuses (octopi?) take tea - highlighting the flavours of the chocolates you'll discover inside.
