In search of the perfect partner to our celebrated Christmas puddings, Fortnum’s enlisted the help of Senhor Ricardo de Freitas of the Barbeito Madeira family.

Blending a long-forgotten barrel found in a disused barn with fresher, younger wines created an exciting sort of alchemy – the perfect union of opulent age and youthful freshness.
