The history between Fortnum’s and Audrey’s dates over 100 years, an impressive length of time for any relationship. But there’s good reason for this. William Pain, who founded Audrey’s, honed his skills as a chocolatier in the 1920s right here at Fortnum’s, and today our Handmade English Chocolates are still made using these exact and exclusive recipes.

And the relationship with Fortnum’s doesn’t end there. Alice Crone and her family took over the business in 2024, with Alice having spent a career in luxury food retail, including several years as a Buyer for Fortnum’s. And so, our relationship continues.

Audrey’s remains a brand with much to celebrate.
