Domaine André Brunel is a prestigious estate in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, known for its old vines planted on the region's classic 'galet' pebble soils. The estate is managed by Fabrice Brunel, André’s son, who Fortnum’s first started working with over thirty years ago. Their 21 hectares of vineyards across Châteauneuf-du-Pape are planted with Grenache, Mourvedre, Syrah and Cinsault. This opulent red wine is a classic Grenache-Syrah-Mourvèdre blend and is heady with plum, raspberry, vanilla and liquorice overlaid with a herbal perfume. It will go beautifully with game and with stronger-flavoured vegetable dishes.

Tasting Note
One of Fortnum’s longest-standing and most popular wines, our Châteauneuf consistently impresses for its old-vine concentration and elegance. It displays expressive notes of plum, wild strawberry, kirsch and rosemary on a velvety, full-bodied palate.
