Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste is one of Pauillac’s most esteemed Fifth Growth estates and a benchmark of classic Bordeaux. The Borie family, custodians since 1978, are revered for preserving Grand-Puy-Lacoste’s reputation for precision, restraint and exceptional longevity under the meticulous leadership of François-Xavier Borie. Our Pauillac comes from the estate’s deep gravel soils overlooking the Gironde estuary, made with the same uncompromising attention to detail as its illustrious ‘grand vin’. It offers an earlier-drinking expression of Pauillac’s noble character. Stylish and approachable with an ample core of fruit, it simply oozes charm.

Tasting Note
This medium-bodied blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, oak-aged for 14 months, is juicy and perfumed, with balanced acidity and notes of cassis, blackcurrant, plum and vanilla. It will match beautifully with roast beef, grilled meats or game.
