Fortnum’s Pauillac is from Château Lacoste Borie, the second wine of Château Grand Puy Lacoste, and one of the great properties of Bordeaux. This blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Merlot was aged for 16 months in oak, and the wine has a delicious vanilla note imbued by the wood. More primary flavours of cassis and bramble fruit are to be savoured on the palate with juicy, crisp acidity on the finish. Pair with the exceptionally flavourful Glenarm Salt Aged Wing Rib of Sirloin.
