The Courvoisier Mizunara 2023 Edition marks a groundbreaking collaboration between Courvoisier's Chief Blender, Thibaut Hontanx, and the House of Suntory's Chief Blender, Shinji Fukuyo. This daring creation, limited to just 500 bottles, represents Courvoisier's foray into innovative experimentation. The blend, aged in casks made from the rare Japanese Mizunara oak tree, is filled with Grand Champagne, chosen for its exceptional aging potential within the Cognac region's most prestigious crus.

This visionary expression unveils oriental aromas such as candied orange and coconut from the Mizunara barrels, leading to subsequent notes of tropical fruits, chocolate, honey, and exotic flowers. The palate experience is smooth and mellow, featuring hints of vanilla, roasted cocoa, and pepper, resulting in a cognac of remarkable complexity.
