Chateau Gazin Pomerol 2011

Château Gazin is located in the eastern area of the Pomerol Plateau, adjoining the vineyards of L`Evangile and Pétrus. Their 26-hectare vineyard is set in a rich clay and limestone soil which typically produces a blend of 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes are vinified traditionally and the wine is matured in oak barriques for 15-18 months.

Voluptuous and polished, aromas of ripe black cherry and raspberry gently unfurl with aeration. The tannins are firm on the finish and the acidity is beautifully integrated. This ruby-coloured wine will pair perfectly with steak, roast lamb or hearty mushroom dishes.
