Chateau Ducasse Blanc Graves 2014

This vineyard is positioned on the highest hilltop of the Graves appellation, which means that grapes ripen exceptionally well here. This delicious wine is a blend of 40% Sauvignon Blanc and 60% Semillon. It has been aged 25% in oak and 75% in in ox vats. The wine has an expressive nose blending freshness and aromatic finesse. With well-balanced acidity with flavours of white fruits apple, pear and peach with a mineral hint, leading to an elegant and refreshing finale. Perfect with all kinds of seafood. For example, salmon served with a light lemon butter sauce, saffron risotto and poached asparagus.
