Chateau Biston Brillette, Moulis

This property, part of the Barbarin family for four generations, is equal parts blend of Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot, and is aged in barrels for 12 months, of which one third is new oak. The Merlot brings roundness to this delicious wine, with the Cabernet Sauvignon bringing structure, making it a well-balanced and easily drinkable wine. This wine possesses a very attractive flavour set of black and Red fruits, which gives way to velvety tannins and a long finish. It goes perfectly with hard cheese, red meat or mushrooms, for wonderful autumnal and winter feasting.
