Biscuits Roses De Reims, 100g

Pretty in pink and utterly timeless, these Biscuits Roses de Reims have been delighting dunkers, and champagne flutes, for over three centuries. Made by Maison Fossier in the heart of the Champagne region, their crisp, airy texture and delicate vanilla sweetness were practically born for fizz.

Baked twice for lightness, these charming ladyfinger-style biscuits are wonderfully moreish. The recipe hasn’t changed in 330 years, and Fortnum’s has been selling them since 1849, which we like to think is a mark of good taste all round. Serve with champagne, English sparkling wine or even sparkling tea. Best enjoyed dunked - elegantly, of course.
