From a winery based in Lompoc run by Jeff Nelson and James Sparks, comes one of the finest Chardonnays in Santa Ynez, USA, using only the most luscious fruit in the region.
Most of the barrels are 3 to 4 years old to avoid too much oak character and allow interaction with oxygen. Because Jeff ensures the fruit he uses is picked early, he is also able to maintain and drive a freshness through the wines, avoiding the old fashioned richness of typical examples from the past.
