Wicker Recycling Service
OUR WICKER RECYCLING SERVICE
FUTURE MATTERS

Ever since we packed off our very first hamper back in the 1700s, re-use has remained core to Fortnum’s.
Our wicker hampers have long been upcycled into a host of ever imaginative homes for shoes, wellies, toys, pets, logs, art supplies… the list goes on. But there’s also the option to recycle your wicker.
Our free home collection service makes recycling quick and easy, and for every wicker returned to us, we will make a contribution to our charity partner, The Felix Project, who save surplus food from the food industry and deliver it to almost 1,000 frontline charities, primary schools and holiday programmes to help feed local communities. Each contribution we make will provide enough food for 30 meals for vulnerable people across London.
How It Works
IMPORTANT! Please return your wicker in the cardboard box it was originally delivered in. Otherwise, you will need to find suitable alternative packaging.
1. For wickers up to and including the following dimensions when packaged: L61cm x W46cm x H46cm, you can arrange your recycling return by visiting the Fortnum’s Royal Mail portal. For any wickers larger than this size, please contact our Customer Services team to arrange a collection.
2. Fill in the details prompted for in the portal.
3. You can choose to have your wicker collected or you can drop it off at your closest drop off point.
4. Click ‘Create your label’.
5. Print your label out and attach it to your packaged up wicker.
