Shake Shack and Fortnum & Mason Debut a First-of-Its-Kind Christmas Collaboration
Meet the limited time Shake and Fifty/Fifty Lemonade duo that puts a festive twist on two Shake Shack classics.
LONDON, UK — This festive season, Shake Shack has partnered with Fortnum & Mason, the iconic British retailer celebrated for its extraordinary teas, biscuits, and seasonal tradition. Together, they’ve crafted a limited-time drinks menu inspired by Fortnum’s most loved Christmas flavours — available exclusively at Shake Shack locations across the UK from 5th November to 6th January.
Blending Fortnum & Mason iconic Christmas Merrilossus biscuits, which see a medley of fruit, nuts and spice covered in thick layers of chocolate, alongside Fortnum’s Christmas black tea with Shake Shack’s signature Shakes and Fifty/Fifty Lemonades, this collaboration brings festive indulgence to a whole new level.
Here’s what’s on the menu:
Merrilossus Shake
Fortnum & Mason Merrilossus biscuit milk tea with a cranberry swirl and garnished with chopped Merrilossus biscuits.
Christmas Cranberry Fifty/Fifty
Tart cranberry lemonade layered with spiced Fortnum & Mason Christmas Tea.
“When creating this holiday drink menu with Fortnum & Mason, we aimed to bring the holiday magic that Fortnum & Mason is known for to Shake Shack classics, says Peter Kayaian, Shake Shack Global Culinary and Product Development Manager. As such, we gravitated towards their Merrilossus biscuits and Christmas blend tea—classic flavours that embody the holiday season.
“The shake blends bold tea with crushed Merrilossus biscuits and milk, layered over cranberry purée and finished with whipped cream and a Merrilossus biscuit crumble. The Christmas Cranberry Tea Fifty/Fifty offers a seasonal twist on our signature drink, pairing cranberry lemonade with Fortnum & Mason Christmas tea. We’re excited to delight guests across the UK with these menu items during one of the most festive times of the year!”
Tom Athron, CEO of Fortnum & Mason said “We’ve been celebrating Christmas at Fortnum’s for over 300 years, and this year we want to shake things up and do it a bit differently. Putting an American spin on our quintessentially British biscuit culture, we’re toasting to another festive season with a collaboration that is a little unexpected. It is a true pleasure to join forces with a restaurant group founded by none other than the legendary Danny Meyer, and to find common ground between UK and US hospitality at this time of year.”
The festive duo is available at every UK Shake Shack from 5th November to 6th January, and pairs perfectly with Shake Shack’s limited time White Truffle menu.
