A Year of the Food & Drink Studio

Celebrating One Year in our Food & Drink Studio!
SNAPSHOTS OF A JOYFUL 12 MONTHS, FILLED WITH DELICIOUSLY UNFORGETTABLE MOMENTS
~~~
One year ago, we transformed our 3rd Floor at Piccadilly into a place dedicated to the search for unforgettable food and drink experiences: and that included throwing open the doors to our new Food & Drink Studio.
Since then, we’ve hosted it all: including unmissable masterclasses and intimate dinners with major names in food and drink — including Maria Bradford, Matt Burgess, Lara Lee, Jurgen Krauss, Felicity Cloake, James Close, Emily Scott, JR Ryall and Calum Franklin, to name just a few.
We've played host to illuminating conversations with makers and creatives from around the world too, and offered opportunities for budding chefs to grow their culinary skills in the Studio. We've even found time to help chefs of global renown launch their newest cookbooks.
In total, we've welcomed curious foodies of every age and from every corner of the country, and held almost 400 events in the Studio — including 20 Supper Clubs, 18 Masterclasses, 17 ‘In Conversation With’ events, 7 book launches, as well as daily demonstrations of culinary excellence from our very own chefs.
For 1 in 3 of our guests, their trip to the Food & Drink Studio was their first visit to Fortnum's — but to paraphrase the many joyful reviews we've received, it's only the first of many more to come.
But perhaps most importantly of all, our first year in the Food & Drink Studio has seen us gathering up with our fellow culinary explorers, with old acquaintances and with new friends — to talk, toast, learn, laugh and feast together.
Explore a selection of some of our favourite photos in the Studio, and discover a little more about what's been happening over the past year. But first, a word of warning: the following images contain all manner of very appetising food, so don't be surprised if your tastebuds begin to tingle and your stomach starts to growl...
