1 - Fortnum & Mason Plc of 181 Piccadilly, London, W1A 1ER ("Fortnum’s") is offering you a chance to win the Prize set out below (the "Promotion"). Fortnum's is the promoter of the Promotion and the terms and conditions below apply to the Promotion. Please read these terms and conditions carefully. By entering the Promotion you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

 

2 - This Promotion is only open to UK (excluding Northern Ireland) residents who at the time of entry are aged 18 years old and over.

 

3 - You may not enter the Promotion if you are: (a) an employee, agent or supplier of Fortnum’s; (b) a member of the immediate family of those set out in (a); or (c) professionally connected with the Promotion or its administration.

 

4 - To enter this Promotion, the Lunar New Year cocktail ‘Sip and Prosper’ must be purchased, available from 3’6 Bar or Fortnum’s Bar & Restaurant at The Royal Exchange, between 12th January 2026 and 22nd February 2026. Upon purchase, guests will be given a scratch card where they can win a selection of prizes.

 

5 - Entries to win one of the prizes must be received during the Promotional Period. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be accepted and will not be entered into the Promotion.

 

6 - The following prizes are available to win:

• - a. 2 x Fortnum & Mason hamper vouchers (value up to £150).
• - b. Cocktails for you and a plus one in 3’6 (cocktail value up to £16.50 pp).
• - c. Cocktails for you and a plus one in The Royal Exchange (cocktail value up to £16.50 pp).
• - d. A tin of biscuits from the Lossus collection (value up to £30).
• - e. Messaging-only scratch card: “This Lunar New Year, we're wishing you good health, fortune and prosperity as we celebrate the Year of the Horse.”
• - Not all scratch cards will result in winning a Prize.

 

7 - Only the Prizes outlined above are available to win and must be redeemed by 31 March 2026.

 

8 - Fortnum’s does not accept any responsibility for any costs which are associated with the Prize which are not expressly included in the Prize and any other costs incurred are the responsibility of the winner.

 

9 - The Prize is subject to availability. Fortnum’s reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of equal or greater value. The Prize cannot be exchanged, transferred or redeemed for cash and may not be used in conjunction with any other offer.

 

10 - The winner will find out if they have won a prize instantly upon scratching off the scratch card. Full details on how the winner can claim the prize are outlined on the back of the scratch card. The winner has until 31.03.2026 to claim the Prize. If a winner fails to claim their Prize within that timescale the winner will forfeit the Prize.

 

11 - Entrants agree that, to the extent permitted by law, Fortnum’s and their employees will not be responsible for any liability for any losses or damages of any kind in connection with the Prize or participation in this Promotion. Nothing in these terms shall be construed to limit or exclude any liability of Fortnum’s for fraudulent misrepresentation, fraud, death or personal injury caused by Fortnum’s negligence or any other liability to the extent the same may not be excluded or limited as a matter of law.

 

12 - Fortnum’s does not accept responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault of any kind or postal failure.

 

13 - The original winning scratch card must be presented to redeem the Prize. Attempts to redeem Prizes where scratch cards have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; or are incomplete will not be accepted. Photos of scratch cards will not be accepted.

 

14 - Fortnum’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Fortnum’s may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Promotion.

 

15 - Fortnum’s reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Promotion where it becomes necessary to do so due to unforeseen circumstances outside of Fortnum’s control. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, at Fortnum’s sole discretion, Fortnum’s reserves the right to exclude you from the Promotion.

 

16 - These terms and conditions, their subject matter and their formation, are governed by English law. You and Fortnum’s both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction except that if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
