75g Cocoa, plus a little extra for dusting;
350ml Whole Milk;
25g Salted Caramel Marshmallows;
50ml Double Cream, whipped to soft peaks;
Chocolate shavings, to serve.
Optional 25ml Butterscotch Schnapps
Hot Chocolate with Caramel Marshmallow
In a small saucepan, heat a tablespoon of hot water with the cocoa powder and whisk until no lumps remain. Add the milk and store until the mixture is smooth, creamy and steaming.
Divide between two mugs, top with marshmallows and whipped cream, dust with cocoa powder and decorate with chocolate shavings.
Hot Chocolate with Butterscotch Schnapps
In a small saucepan, heat a tablespoon of hot water with the cocoa powder and whisk until no lumps remain. Add half of the milk and the butterscotch schnapps and heat until smooth, creamy and steaming. Add the rest of the milk and stir constantly until the mixture is just under the boil.
Divide between two mugs, top with whipped cream and dust with cocoa powder.
