Fortnum's Margaux, Brio de Cantenac Brown, 75cl

There has been a partnership between Fortnum’s and the 200-year-old Margaux Third Growth Château Cantenac Brown since 2012, and this exceptional blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc is their second wine: one that is well-named, given its vivacity and verve on the palate. An alluring perfume of spice is followed by a silky mouthful of cassis and black berries, enveloped in soft tannins. The wine has beautiful balance and great length, and will be perfect with red meat dishes, particularly beef or lamb.
