As keepers of British tradition and long-supporters of a homegrown food future, we’re proud to introduce the latest culinary concept to be born out of Piccadilly, FIELD by Fortnum’s. With sustainability and seasonality at the heart of a plant-led menu, each dish is designed around daily sourced produce and ingredients, almost all of which are sourced from the UK. We can track our line-caught fish to the very boat it was caught on, while meat, dairy and vegetables are all sourced from small-scale regenerative farms.

A concept inspired to minimise wastefulness and celebrate locality, expect deceptively simple, but powerfully delicious food from this country’s greatest (and freshest) produce.

about the tea salon

Our Tea Salon has been a great many things for over 313 years. It began as an apartment for the Fortnum family, then became an interior decorating department in the 1920s and 1930s, and later an antiques department and a restaurant known as St. James’s. Since 2012 it has paid homage to the timeless tradition of Afternoon Tea.


Epitomising the sophistication of Afternoon and High Tea in all its splendour, our Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon was named in honour of Her Majesty’s visit in 2012, when she formally opened the room, in the company of their Royal Highnesses the Duchess of Cornwall and the Duchess of Cambridge. And today and every day, it is the perfect place for your Afternoon Tea party.
