Featuring the work of emerging and established designer-makers alike, visit Fortnum's between May 3rd-31st for the chance to Meet the Makers and purchase their work - and catch the stunning work of contemporary jewellers and silversmiths in our Duke Street windows too.


Vicki Ambery-Smith: Silver Interpretations of Architecture

4.30-6.30pm, Tues 15th May, 1st Floor

Vicki has created unique interpretations of architecture for more than 20 years, and her individually designed pieces are based on real and imagined buildings alike. Today, Vicki's work can be seen in collections such as those of the V&A, Crafts Council, Royal Scottish Museum, and the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Craft.

Sonia Cheadle: Contemporary but Classic

Sonia Cheadle’s beautifully subtle work combines innovative use of diamond with traditional materials and contemporary techniques - creating timeless classics, designed to be worn and celebrated each and every day.

James Dougall: Shape and Form in Silversmithing

4.30-6.30pm, Tues 22nd May, 1st Floor

James’ approach to designing for silver is based on an exploration of shape, form and function, and on his desire to find new ways of addressing how the medium is perceived in a rapidly changing world. His work has won numerous awards and been exhibited internationally, at acclaimed and famous locations around the world.

Stephanie Holt: Geometric, minimalist, colourful

4.30-6.30pm, Fri 25th May, 2nd Floor Jewellery Dept

Stephanie is an award-winning jewellery artist and graduate of the School of Jewellery, Birmingham. Her work has a minimalist and geometric aesthetic whilst being colourful and celebratory. Inspired by the natural and un-natural wonders of the world, her statement pieces recently appeared on the catwalks of London Fashion Week 2018.

Susi Hines: : Movement and texture in Jewellery

4.30-6.30pm, Tues 29th May, 2nd Floor Jewellery Dept

Susi Hines is inspired by repetitive leaf patterns, eroded surfaces and movement which she creates through adjustable components or an aesthetic sense of fluidity through the subtle effects of coloured golds and surface quality. Her patented Mutabilis Collection rings may be taken apart, adapted and expanded, giving the wearer ultimate flexibility.
