The plums used to make these pruneaux are grown in the south of France by small farming co-operatives. The plums are a rare, local variety called Ente, which are highly regarded for their particularly sweet flavour, texture and plump size. Every plum is hand-prepared and then hand-stuffed with a sweet and moist prune purée to make these special confections. Soft, juicy and utterly delicious, these are superb alongside an after-dinner coffee.
