These delicious Peter's Yard Swedish Sourdough Crispbread Holes are inspired by Sweden, the home of crispbread. Historically, large discs of dough were baked at harvest time. A hole was stamped out of the middle, so each could be hung on poles above the fireplace and stored over the long Swedish winters. Each crispbread has been made to an authentic recipe using simple, natural ingredients, including organic flours, organic milk and real sourdough, which has been fermented for 16 hours before baking. Delicious topped with smoked salmon for a light lunch or a selection of fine cheeses after dinner.
