Louis Roederer, Cristal 2006 Magnum
Established in 1776, Louis Roederer is one of the few, great Champagne houses which remains family owned. Their astonishing collection of prime vineyard sites offers the house ultimate control of quality from grape to glass.
By 1876 the house had achieved such a reputation for quality that Tsar Alexandre II requested they make him an exclusive cuvee. The result was Cristal, the first Cuvee de Prestige. The Cristal 2006 Magnum has subtle notes of pears, flowers, spices, mint, minerals and oak, woven into a frame of extraordinary grace and elegance. This beautifully sculpted champagne possesses clarity but with the additional depth of fruit that is characteristic of this vintage. It is a gorgeous, seductive Cristal of the highest level.
