Storage

Preparation and use

- Cooking Precautions: All appliances vary, these are guidelines only
- To Steam, remove the film wrap, wrap the basin in foil and place the covered basin in a steamer or saucepan of water filled two thirds of the depth of the basin and boil gently for 2 hours. Do not boil dry. Carefully remove from steamer or saucepan. Allow to stand for 3 minutes then remove mop cap, cling film and silicon disc from the top of the pudding. Invert basin on to serving plate and leave for 30 seconds. Then using a utensil gently lift off the basin. Check that the pudding is hot before serving. To Microwave, remove film wrap, mop cap, cling film and silicon disc. Invert basin onto a microwaveable plate. Cook on full power for 6 minutes (time based on a 800 watt output. If different refer to manufacturer’s handbook). (If you wish to serve on a non-microwaveable plate, remove film wrap, mop cap and place basin upright in microwave, after cooking, remove silicon disc and invert on to the serving plate). Leave to stand for 3 minutes and then using a utensil gently lift off basin. Check that the pudding is hot before serving.Two or more puddings will require a longer cooking time. ImportantRemove basin carefully after cooking as pudding and basin will be very hot.Serve 6 to 8 people
