- To be enjoyed at its best and most flavoursome, we recommend that this pudding is steamed. STEAM, Remove outer packaging but leave the muslin on. Steam for 1 ½ to 2 hours. Take great care that the water does not enter the pudding and that the saucepan does not boil dry. MICROWAVE, Please note that microwave oven vary and the following is a guide only. Remove outer packaging and muslin cloth. Loosen lid but leave perched on bowl. Microwave for 2½ minutes in an 800W oven.
