Fortnum's Rioja Crianza, Bodegas La Encina
The blend is 95% Tempranillo and 5% Garnacha, and is aged 12 months in a combination of American and French oak barrels. It is then bottled and aged for a minimum of 12 months before release.
The result of this gentle ageing in the bodegas is a wine with a surprisingly intense black cherry colour. The nose is complex powerful nose of berry fruits with hints of vanilla and spices. The palate offers a velvety softness with good tannic structure, and very long finish. Please note that it is an offence to purchase or attempt to purchase alcoholic liquor if you are under the age of 18.For a full list of ingredients and allergens, please contact us here.
