Fortnum’s Pauillac is made by the producer behind Château Grand Puy Lacoste, which is one of the great properties of the appellation of Pauillac, and of Bordeaux generally. This blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Merlot was aged for 16 months in oak, and the wine has a delicious vanilla note imbued by the wood. More primary flavours of cassis and bramble fruit are to be savoured on the palate with juicy, crisp acidity on the finish. Pair with the exceptionally flavourful Glenarm Salt Aged Wing Rib of Sirloin. Tasting Notes
