Our Crozes Hermitage comes from a tiny family domaine called Fayolle Fils et Fille, established in 1870. As per the appellation of Crozes Hermitage, this red is made from Syrah grapes, but the vine age of 40 years old is appreciably higher than average for the appellation and it shows. The resulting wine is full of black fruits, and leather, and you can almost taste the clay limestone soil from which the grapes are harvested - there is a delightful mineral chalky note on the finish. A perfect accompaniment for all red meats. It can be enjoyed now or cellared for up to 10 years. Please note that it is an offence to purchase or attempt to purchase alcoholic liquor if you are under the age of 18."For a full list of ingredients and allergens, please contact us here.
