Conciso Branco Niepoort Dão
The Dão region in central Portugal is very hilly and a patchwork of forests, small holdings and vineyards.
Niepoort have always considered that the quality here is undervalued, so recently bought the small estate of Quinta da Lomba where this wine is made.
The Encruzado and Bical grapes that form the core of this white wine are grown on the estate. They were pressed in a traditional basket press and the resulting juice was fermented gently in a mix of seasoned oak vessels and concrete tanks.
The style is delicate with ripe orchard fruit aromas combined with great freshness and lingering flavours of the orchard.
Food Pairing: White fish dishes. Oven baked pork leg / belly pork/ cauliflower cheese/ apple crumble. Please note that it is an offence to purchase or attempt to purchase alcoholic liquor if you are under the age of 18."For a full list of ingredients and allergens, please contact us here.
