Charles Heidsieck Millesime Brut Vintage
Charles Heidsieck Champagne was founded in Reims in 1851 by the original ‘Champagne Charlie,’ a man who popularised champagne in America with his extraordinary wines and dazzling character. Today Charles Heidsieck is one of the world’s most awarded champagne houses.
Charles Heidsieck Brut Millésimé 2008 is a blend of ten Grands Crus and Premiers Crus meticulously selected by the House, expressing magnificent minerality, intensity and acidity. Blended from 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, this exceptional cuvée was aged for ten years in our Gallo-Roman Crayères (chalk cellars) and already displays all the elegance and power of an outstanding vintage.
Food Pairing: With taut minerality, complexity and a generous, creamy texture, Millésimé 2008 pairs well with food from the sea; think lobster tartare, scallop with chopped parsley and basil or shrimp tempura.
