Made exclusively for Fortnum's by a family chocolatier in Tuscany, Italy – “Napolitains” is the traditional Italian word for these individually wrapped squares of chocolate, served with a cup of coffee or after dinner as a small sweet treat.
Filled with 196 individually wrapped chocolates in 11 different flavours, each weighs approximately 5 grams:
Madagascar dark chocolate squares created with a variety of cocoa that has an intense perfume, notes of berries, cinnamon, pepper, cashew nuts.
Dominican Republic dark chocolate squares, created with a cocoa that has notes of plums, peanuts, tobacco and coffee.
Venezuela dark chocolate squares, created with a cocoa that has notes of almonds and coffee, great delicacy, roundness and persistence.
Ecuador dark chocolate squares, created with a cocoa that has a peculiar hazelnut, banana and floral taste.
Dark Chocolate squares, created from bitter sweet chocolate with intense flavour.
Milk Chocolate squares, created from the creamiest milk chocolate with a smooth, rich texture.
Sea Salt milk chocolate squares, created using Italian sea salt from Cervia, with history dating back to the Etruscan period. Cervia salt is more palate pleasing due to a limited presence of bitter salts, creating harmony between the sweet milk chocolate and the salt.
Ginger dark chocolate squares, created using Brazilian ginger for its spicy and fragrant flavour.
Mint dark chocolate squares, created using Italian peppermint from Pancalieri in northern Italy.
Orange dark chocolate squares, created using Italian (Sicilian) oranges, which are caramelised, crushed and then added to the chocolate.
And finally, our Lemon milk chocolate squares, created using Italian Sicilian lemons, which are caramelised, crushed and then added to the chocolate.
