Also known as Jade Dew, Gyokuro is considered as one of the most hailed and expensive types of Japanese tea. Cultivated in the shade and enriched with a naturally refined sweet flavour, this deep emerald green tea is sparkling quality in leaf form. The resulting tea has a fresh, green and grassy aroma with distinctive umami character.
Heat water to 60°C, then brew for approximately 2-3 minutes. Sip slowly to savour its distinctive flavour.
