Gevrey Chambertin is the most celebrated commune in the Côte de Nuits, producing some of the most sought after Pinot Noir in the world. Gerard Harmand and his son Philippe draw fruit for this cuvée from their 9 hectares of vineyards in the commune, before ageing the wines in French oak barrels for a year, 20% of which is new.
The 2016 vintage is typically concentrated yet ever so refined, with the structure length and silkiness that defines great red Burgundy.
