Tea Cocktails #2 | Earl Grey Honey Aperol

• Smokey Earl Grey-infused Vodka

• Aperol

• Lemon Juice

• Earl Grey & Honey Syrup


The recipe

First, create homemade and extraordinary Earl Grey-infused vodka by steeping 35g of Smoky Earl Grey tea in 700ml of good quality Vodka. Leave to cold infuse in the refrigerator for up to one hour, then strain off the tea leaves.

Next, create your Earl Grey & Honey Syrup by bringing 500ml of water to the boil. Add 10g of Smoky Earl Grey tea to the boiled water and allow to brew for 4 minutes. Next, strain off the tea and add 500g of honey and 500g of sugar, then place over a low heat and stir until the honey and sugar dissolves. Finally, set the mixture aside to cool and refrigerate until chilled.

Once prepped and ready, fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add 40ml Aperol, 40ml Smoky Earl Grey-infused Vodka, 25ml lemon juice, and 25ml Honey and Earl Grey syrup, then shake vigorously for 10 to 20 seconds, strain over cubed ice and enjoy.
