Fortnum's Tokaji 5 Puttunyos, Pajzos Tokaji, 50cl

This deliciously sweet yet balanced wine is harvested from the historic wine-growing region of Tokaj in north east Hungary. The region of Tokaji itself is a UNESCO world heritage site with a thousand year old viticulture history being the first to make sweet wines. Fortnum's Tokaji is made by Pajzos Tokaj, one of the great producers of the region, and is made by blending hand-picked shrivelled berries with top quality base wines.

It has a nose of orange peel, figs and cinnamon, whilst the sugar on the palate is well-balanced by the fine acidity, leading to a clean, refreshing finish.

Our Tokaji is a winning compliment for blue cheese, pate and dessert. Best served lightly chilled.
