This is absolutely delicious dry lively white wine that is hugely underrated.
The Muscadet region is one of France's oldest appellations and is located very near Nantes in the north west of the country.
Melon de Bourgogne is the grape variety, and at just 12% vol, it is very light in body, with a racy mineral freshness that places it in the Chablis style category, albeit at half the price.
With its tangy almost salty flavours it provides a great match for seafood.
