A new opera house on the edge of London

Grange Park Opera’s glorious Theatre in the Woods, the first new opera house of the 21st century, opened to 14,000 visitors last summer. The five-tiered theatre within the demi-Eden of West Horsley Place, Surrey has a convivial atmosphere. And in the long interval you can dine in the 15th century house (where Elizabeth 1 stayed for a week) or enjoy a Fortnum's picnic within the walled gardens or by the crinkle-crankle wall or even on the croquet lawn. The possibilities are endless.

The 2018 season (7 June - 14 July) promises to raise the bar even higher and includes new productions of Rogers & Hammerstein’s masterpiece, Oklahoma!, Gounod’s heartrending Roméo et Juliette, Verdi’s dramatic tale of intrigue, Un Ballo in Maschera and the staged world premiere of Pushkin – The Opera

Tickets £35-195. To book, call: 01962 737373 or click below.
