Boodles British Gin is unique in that it does not use a citrus botanical. On the palate, it has a sweet, cinnamon start followed by a rich herbal finish of rosemary and coriander.
Boodle's Club was founded in 1762 and named after its Head Waiter - Edward Boodle. Ian Fleming was a member of the club and refers to Boodles British Gin in two of his James Bond novels.
This deliciously smooth gin makes a perfect martini - shaken, not stirred.
It is also delicious on its own on the rocks. Sir Winston Churchill, who favoured Boodles gin, preferred his gin martini without the vermouth:
“I would like to observe the vermouth from across the room while I drink my martini.”
