Fortnum’s has a long history of selling tea, and we’re very fond of roses too, which are used in our groceries and confectionery. So we are delighted that, together, they provided the inspiration for this stunning cake. Decorated with hand-painted tea roses, this cake is the perfect centrepiece for an English summer wedding.

To create the perfect cake for your wedding, you can customise the size and colour of the cake and the colours of the tea roses. The design can be made more subtle or striking depending on the combination of colours selected.

The cake itself can be either a classic fruitcake or a sponge cake in a wide range of flavours, such as Vanilla, Lemon or Tercentenary Chocolate. For the sponge filling, you can choose from six buttercream flavours as well as from Fortnum’s extensive range of jams and marmalades.

We can also provide matching ‘Tea Rose’ cookie favours, iced in the colours of your choice.
