According to confectionery legend, Turkish Delight was invented 500 years ago when Sultan Abdul Hamid ordered his sweetmaker to make something delicious to keep his harem happy. The man produced a tray of soft, flower-scented sweets so delightful that the Sultan made him Chief Confectioner to the Ottoman court. Ours is also handmade in Turkey and flavoured with rose, lemon, pistachio, almond, honey and apricot. Just right for the end of a particularly good dinner party.
