Laurent Perrier is the largest family-owned Champagne House. The non vintage is sourced from 55 different villages and is delightfully crisp, fresh and elegant. Their celebrated Brut Rosé Champagne is made up of 100% Pinot Noir, and the colour is derived by grape skin contact, rather than by the more usual method of blending red wine. It is very expressive, with lovely nuances of strawberry and raspberry fruit. The Brut Millésimé 2002 is bottle aged in the Laurent Perrier cellars for 7 years. It is delightfully approachable, with notes of almonds on the nose, and red and citrus fruits on the palate. 2002 was an outstanding vintage in Champagne.
