In 1930, weary West End shoppers found a new place for a reviving repast – the new restaurant in Fortnum & Mason. Later given the rather al fresco name of The Patio, our very first restaurant served morning coffee, light lunches and afternoon tea.

Fast-forward past the refurbishments which marked our 300th anniversary in 2007, and spring 2014 has seen something of a renovation in our mezzanine restaurant, now known as the Gallery. There are new, more intimate tables, a brighter look and even a new uniform for our attentive staff, modelled on the classic shop-keeper’s jacket.

Perhaps most excitingly for diners, our menu has been refined and revamped to reflect the Gallery’s reputation for seasonal food. Always a haven for those who care about the quality and provenance of their food, the Gallery's new menu is a veritable tour of our Food Hall, from fresh fruit and vegetables via butchers, fish, cheese counter and bakery. Our innovative kitchen will present new dishes on the menu every week, inspired by the latest ingredients in season.

With an emphasis on all-day dining, plus of course our outstanding Fruits De Mer offer on a Saturday and classic roast lunch on a Sunday, the Gallery is already a destination restaurant for a new generation of diners.

Pimm's

Diners may also like to partake of a carafe of that most summery refreshment, ice-cold ruby-red Pimm’s. Filled with fresh fruit, our Classic Pimm’s is £15.00, while the Pimm’s Royale, served with our Best of British favourite Highgrove Sparkling Wine, is priced at £23.00.
