NEW - Shortbread
Proper shortbread has a very particular crunchy and crumbly texture, so to make Fortnum’s shortbread we enlisted the help of a small, family-run bakery in Edinburgh. Not only do they mix and bake by hand to capture that authentic taste, but also they have added some wonderful new ingredients, from spicy ginger to buttery macadamia nuts.
NEW - Tea Preserves
Fortnum’s Tea Preserves are a new collection of handmade preserves, made with fresh fruit infused with the delicate flavours of Fortnum’s tea. Each fruit has been carefully paired with its perfect tea partner, and the preserves are handmade in Oxfordshire by the same hands that produce our incomparable Rose Petal Jelly.
NEW - Olive Oils
Every year, a team of expert tasters gathers around a table at Fortnum & Mason to perform an important ritual – the tasting of the new harvest of olive oil. This year more than 100 oils were tasted by Fortnum’s savoury grocery buyer - our choice is below.
