St James Restaurant
A more formal dining experience on the Fourth Floor of Fortnum & Mason and probably the most famous of the five restaurants. The St. James's has a Table d'Hôte menu for lunch and focuses on fine seasonal British ingredients cooked to perfection. In addition the £10.00 corkage offer launched in the 1707 Wine Bar applies on a wide selection of wines from the wine department.
A new tradition was born on 28th September 2008 to be enjoyed by the whole family. Every Sunday from 12.00pm – 2.30pm the St. James's serves traditional Sunday lunch. The menu, which will change every Sunday, will reflect the Englishness of St. James's, including a carving trolley for the Sunday Roast. Reservations are recommended.
St. James's is also famous for its traditional Afternoon and High Teas with a wonderful array of rare teas from around the world. A pianist plays Monday – Friday from 3.00pm – 6.00pm, Saturday from 2.45pm – 7.00pm and Sunday from 12.30pm – 4.30pm.
